General Cassius the Betrayer is one of the new bosses introduced in the V Rising 1.0 update. The lore states that Cassius was a decorated officer at the Church of Luminicance. He was tasked to hunt down Dracula, but was charmed and now serves Dracula as a General for the Legion of Noctum. It’s been a few days since the launch of the update and you must be around level 60 if you played enough and General Cassius the Betrayer is a boss you can go after. General Cassius the Betrayer V Rising
General Cassius the Betrayer is a level 57 boss and very hard to kill. Multiple high-level troops accompany him, and due to his mobile locations, other patrolling enemies can join the fight.
To find General Cassius the Betrayer, go to the new zone in the 1.0 update (the Ruins of Mortium) and the boss can be usually found patrolling between the two Waygates in the area. If you enter from Dunley Farmlands and go East, you should run into him if other players have not already defeated him. Use the V Blood tracker when in the vicinity of the area; it will point you directly to him.
Once you defeat the boss, he drops Unholy Spell Points Tier 2, which you can use to unlock Unholy skills. He also unlocks the Stygian Summoning Circle, which can be built at the base, and the Vampiric Brew.
