Artifacts form the core of your character builds in Genshin Impact and ever since the release of Dendro in Genshin Impact Version 3.0, while the new artifact sets have been good, players still felt a sense of lack as the Dendro meta requires diverse builds beyond the general Gilded Dreams and Deepwood Memories set. Recent leaks reveal that players will get 2 new artifact sets in Version 3.3 of the game and it will pertain to the Anemo and Dendro meta.

New Artifact Sets in Version 3.3 of Genshin Impact

While we do not yet know the specific names of these sets, we do their effects and abilities. The first set is an Anemo set that gives 15% Anemo DMG bonus as its 2-pc effect and on its full set, it buffs the normal, charged and plunging attack by 30% for 10s while also increasing the Normal Attack SPD after a charged attack. This set has also been leaked to be Scaramouche’s preferred artifact set upon his release in the same patch.

This is refreshing because for the longest time Anemo users had only one option for a DPS build with the Viridescent Venerer. And while that is a compelling set, a few Anemo units didn’t really rely on its 4-pc effects like Jean and the newly released Heizou. These were melee Anemo units that didn’t mainly rely on Swirls as their primary source of damage. Scaramouche’s kit has also been leaked to be that of a melee Anemo DPS so it makes sense for players to finally get a dedicated melee Anemo set.

The next set pertains to the Dendro meta- specifically Bloom users. This set, as its full set effect, will massively buff all Bloom reactions including its sub-reactions- Hyperbloom and Burgeon. While the text isn’t completely clear on how this will work, players can expect a massive damage buff to their Bloom teams. The artifact set seems viable on characters like Barbara and Kokomi who are reliable triggers for Bloom. This could also be Nilou’s best-in-slot dedicated artifact set as her whole kit revolves around Blooms.

These artifact sets will open up a whole lot of new builds not just for newer and upcoming characters but also for some older characters. Version 3.3 isn’t far so players can expect to farm these sets by the end of the year.
