There are several XP bars that mean different things, and you need to complete particular challenges to level them up. While playing in the main stage, you will find three different XP bars; Revisit, Compete, and Explore. Each XP bar is tied to different challenges within the Main Stage.
Revisit
You will notice a blue XP bar, and this bar is tied to your solo performance. You can quickly earn solo XP by playing incomplete playlists or compete in playlists having a blue logo. Redoing playlists will also help you earn Revisit XP
Compete
The orange XP bar stands Compete, and you can get XP here by playing PVP and Summit Challenges. For Summit Challenges, you can only participate if you have the required cars. After participating, depending on your final score, you will be placed in either Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum tiers. The higher your score, the higher up the ranks you go and the more XP you can earn. Also, there are a few unique races you can participate in and earn even more XP.
As for PvP, it is divided into two sections; Destruction Royale and Grand Races
- Destruction Royale: Fight in crews of 4 or max 8. Total players on the map will be 32. Similar to a Battle Royale scenario, you and your crew will drop off the plane in your designated spot. Your vehicle will be a destruction derby, and you have to defeat all other players on the map before the allotted time. The map will also shrink, so you have to act fast and be the last crew standing.
- Grand Races: This map will host 28 players divided into 3 sections for the 3 car categories. You have 10 minutes to complete the race with the selected car. All cars will have the same performance level, but some cars can outshine the others during the race.
For both the above challenges, the base rewards will be the same for all. But there will be an added multiplier based on your final score.
Explore
And finally comes the green XP bar, called the Explore bar. For this, you need to participate in finding Collectables, Free Roam, and Treasure Hunts. Completing all the actions under Free Roam will earn you Explore points. These include drifting, speeding, spins, etc. Along the way, if you happen to come across treasure and rare collectables, this will add to your green XP bar too.
Legend
After you have leveled up any one of the three XP bars to level 4, you will enter the Legend state. While under the Legend state, you can continue to level up the XP bar that has crossed level 4 and unlock rare rewards. The rewards are based on the Monthly Main Stage, and each time the stage resets, the rewards will reset as well.
