You can learn 14 Soul Melodies while playing Tchia, but you can only unlock them eventually. The first time you get to learn about Soul Melodies is in Chapter 2 while learning how to balance rocks from Tre. You will learn the melodies for Time: Dawn, Time: Dusk, Time: Noon, and Time: Midnight. To start playing the melody, press the right button on the D-pad of your controller. This will make Tchia use the Ukulele. You will also get a chart of all the unlocked tunes you can play. Select the tune, hold the left stick in the direction of the note, then press X on your controller to play the melody.
How to Get More Soul Melodies
You can unlock more melodies by completing all the Rock Balancing challenges found around the island. There are several of these rock challenges you can find, and each of them will give you a different melody to learn if you have successfully arranged them. To play the Rock Balancing mini-game, use the left and right sticks to align the rock, then press A/X to drop the rock. There are several rocks around the challenge area that you need to align to the required height. After you have stacked all the rocks correctly, you unlock a new tune to play that will give you new abilities.
