The Starfield Echoes of the Past cache is located in cell D-02-106, which can be difficult to get due to the prison’s confusing structure on Suvorov. You’ll be working with Delgado and Mathis to uncover the truth regarding Jasper Kryx’s Legacy. Finding a computer and pressing a button is the key to completing the optional objective, “locate the cache in cell D-02-106,” as is the case with many of the other closed prison cells.

What is in Cell D-02-106?

In the Starfield Echoes of the Past mission, you’ll need to visit cell D-02-106 to retrieve a cache full of important items; we’ll show you where to find the computer in D-block to do so. Cell D-02-106 holds the Starfield Echoes of the Past cache, which can be accessed by flipping a switch in a nearby control room.

Location of Cache in Cell D-02-106 and How to Unlock it?

The cell door is the first place you should look for the room. The easiest way to go to D-block in Starfield is to follow the blue quest sign. If you try to open the cell door, you’ll get a notice saying that, unlike the other doors in the prison, which can be unlocked with a lock pick and a digipick, this one requires a computer. When you get down to it, the ‘computer’ is just a wall-mounted switch.

When facing the cell, turn right and proceed down the corridor until you reach the switch. You may get to the basement by descending the steps on your left. Walk past the kitchen and the bathroom to your left, then up the steps in front of you to reach the guard tower. The cell release switch for D-block section 02 may be found on the wall to the right of the broken intercom in the security room.

When you press the button, the door to your cell will open. Return to cell D-02-106 and go inside to rob the cache and complete the side mission. An assortment of tools, including digipicks, a frag grenade, a shock mine, and two cutters, as well as a random weapon plus ammunition boxes, can be found beneath the bed.
