There are two things you need to get before going through green barriers in the game. The first thing you need to unlock is the ability to dash. You can get two dash variants, the regular dash, and the air dash ability. Besides the dash ability, you also need to get Merrin’s Charm. You can get all these while progressing through the main missions in Jedha, specifically during the Jedha’s Pilgrim Sanctuary main mission. Once you have both these abilities, you can now jump through the green barriers.

To get past the barrier, you just need to press the dash button on your keyboard or controller. With Merrin’s Charm activated, you can get past the barrier to the other side. In certain cases, you would also have to double jump and dash, especially in hard-to-reach places, to get to the other side.
