A Shield Button Mechanism allows you to rotate the room’s orientation by throwing your shield into the green node, rotating the world 90 degrees clockwise per collision. Platforms protrude from most surfaces, and your objective is to utilise these transitions to your advantage, moving the water to access different sections of the room.
Rotating Room of Water Puzzle Step-by-Step Solution
Here is the whole step-by-step process of how to complete the Rotating Water Room and collect your rewards.
Step 1: Turn the Water to the Right Wall
As you enter the room, locate the green shield node that controls how the room is to be rotated. Activate your Shield Throw ability and hit the node, turning the room so that the water will switch sides to the right-hand wall. It will allow you to swim upwards, since gravity is now redirected, and access areas that were not accessible.
Step 2: Swim Up and Reach the Elevated Platform
Swim up through the water now lining the right-hand wall. Near the top, you’ll find a platform sticking out from the water’s surface. Drop onto it. From here, jump toward the flat, circular platform in the centre of the room. This will be your staging point for the next significant jump.

With the water now on the ceiling, observe the front wall — you’ll notice a hatch has opened, revealing a green grapple point. Stand on the middle platform and use the Shield Grapple skill to grab onto the node. This will pull you out into a concealed alcove, where you’ll be able to find a stash of gold bars.

After you’ve collected the gold, a blue teleporter will become available in front of you. Pass through it to exit the rotating water room and enter the living path of Chapter 15.
