To solve the Herbarium Desert Fae Tower puzzle, you need to light up all the 5 mechanisms in a particular order. Once you step foot inside the tower, trigger the red platform when you reach the top floor up the stairs. This will show you where all the mechanisms are located as they will briefly glow red. You need to reach and activate each one, and if done correctly, a beam of blue light will emit from it. There is a catch to the puzzle, that you have to follow an order while trying to activate them. If you activate the wrong mechanic, you have to redo the puzzle from scratch. Not just that, but each time you pick the wrong mechanic, a bunch of enemies will spawn. You have to clear the area before you can attempt to redo the puzzle
The order of the puzzle is random for each playthrough, so you have to do a bit of trial and error to find out. You can build stairs to get to some of the hard to reach mechanics and activate them. Since you don’t require your Estate to craft stairs, utilize that to get to the mechanics. Once you clear the puzzle, pick up the Essence Bundle in the middle of the arena. You can now continue forward to the end of the Fae Tower, after which you can get Synchronized Lotus and T2 essence as your reward
