To collect the Skandha of Thought key item, you need to first make your way over to Valley of Ecstasy > Mindfulness Cliff in Chapter 3’s The New West. Follow the path on the right side of the shrine and keep going till you find a wooden plank board. Jump off the board and land below, then continue forward. Go up the short flight of stairs and up the slope on your left. Keep following the path till you come across a flight of stairs on your right.
Go up the stairs, follow the snowy path that goes into a cave and keep to your right side. Go up the stairs here and you will find a large stone head on the floor. Go close to it and you can investigate it to get the Skandha of Thought. The Skandha of Thought is one of the five Skandhas to be found in the overworld. The others can be found in different chapters, so do explore all the nooks & crannies of each area before moving on
