The “Scattered to the Winds” quest in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred takes you through the battlefields where you have to deal with enemies, an encounter to defend a bridge, and defeat a powerful boss, the Tideraiser. Start the Quest at Athulua Garrison
To start the Scattered to the Winds quest, visit Athulua Garrison in western Temis. Speak with the Amazonian leaders there. After this, Tyrael will lead you towards the eastern flank station.
Head down the marked path and defeat enemies along the way. Most enemy encounters are minor before reaching the main event so it won’t require a lot of skill to get through. Once at the eastern flank station, eliminate the enemies there and speak with the nearby Bowmaiden to continue the quest.
Defend the Bridge Against Enemy Waves
Don’t follow the NPCs after the conversation; simply go straight to the bridge nearby. When you get to the bridge, you’ll trigger a defense encounter where you’ll have to fend off waves of enemies while guarding the area. The first few waves will be easy, but players who linger in one spot too long will find themselves quickly overwhelmed by the numbers.
Use crowd control and mobility skills to control how the enemies are grouped, and avoid taking damage unnecessarily. When you have defeated enough enemies, the final boss encounter with the Tideraiser will begin.
Defeat the Tideraiser
During certain periods, the Tideraiser will be really tough and call on many smaller Tideraisers to join them around the arena; you will need to remove the immunity phase and continue damaging the boss. The battlefield has several dangerous orbs scattered on it so you’ll need to be careful otherwise you will endure heavy damage from the orbs.
Using your ultimate abilities is an efficient way to defeat the Tideraiser while the boss is in its vulnerable phase. Upon defeating the Tideraiser, you will complete the quest successfully.
