The third of the DLC series in Remnant 2, Dark Horizon, promises to be darker than anything so far. It is going to end up being the largest DLC ever, with the new zones, more enemies to fight, and many other exciting changes to note. Changes have also been made to the character progression and the user interface of the game. The new Prism and Fragments system in Remnant 2 is a free update that everyone can get, even if they don’t buy the new DLC.

The new Fragments and Prisms system in Remnant 2 lets you customize your character’s playstyle. By choosing different Fragments and Prisms, you can get different bonuses that will help you in combat. You can pick Fragments and Prisms that suit your strengths or weaknesses to create a character that works best for you.

How to find Fragments and Prisms

Look inside the in-game menu and you will see on the left side under “Fragments” a Prism surrounded by Fragments. Each one of those Fragments offers a special passive buff, but each one must be activated. Only three Fragments can be active at any time, so choose carefully.

To get new Fragments, you can fight the strong enemies that appear randomly during your runs. When you defeat them, they might drop a Fragment. You can also find Fragments in chests.

What are Fragments

Fragments are the smaller crystals around the Prism in the Fragments menu. They give you small bonuses, like better healing or more armor. You can choose to use them if they help your character build.

If you have Fragments you don’t want to use, you can feed them to your Prism. This will destroy the Fragment, but it will level up your Prism and give you new bonuses. If you destroy a Prism you want to use, you might be able to find another one later in the game.

What are Prisms

The Prisms are designed to keep players interested in Remnant 2 after they finish the main game. They provide more customization for your character and allow you to have the flexibility to choose your Relic Fragments, or you can even feed Fragments to your Prisms to level them up and avail their skills. It allows you to customize the perfect builds according to your playstyle.

There are 7 Prisms in total with 3 slots of Fragments and 5 slots for passive skill bonuses. When you feed Fragments to a Prism, you can see the chance of getting a specific stat bonus. This lets you make smart decisions about how to progress in the game and get stronger.

When your Prism reaches level 50, you get a Legendary Bonus, which is the best enhancement in Remnant 2. You can get more Legendary Bonuses as you level up past 50. If you don’t like the starting bonuses you chose for your Prism at level 50, you can reset them and choose new ones.

To get Legendary Bonuses, you need to level up your Prism to 50. A fast way to do this is to feed it Fragments you don’t want or play Boss Rush mode. Boss Rush has three different modes: fighting three bosses, six bosses, or all of them in one run. If you’re new, try the Triple Threat mode to see if you’re ready for harder game modes.
