Upper City Clock Puzzle in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown- How to Solve?
Puzzles are one of the most intelligent troubles of this game and the main trick is that there’s no way you can avoid them. Every other step in the game has a puzzle to solve and the Upper City Clock puzzle is among them. If you are trying to solve it, it will be best if you have the Chakram – Shadow of the Simurgh upgrade. With this upgrade, you can easily get the ability to teleport to where your Chakram is thrown. This will help you a lot in solving the puzzle.
Bottom Floor Room
Enter the room at the bottom of the main chamber and throw your Chakram to the crystal. Teleport to the platform with the crystal and use Dimensional Claw to grab it. next place the crystal in the receptacle to form the ledge. Stand on the ledge, throw the Chakram to the very top, and teleport to it. You must create a Shadow of the Simurgh copy in the small nook. Now, claim the crystal back and get back to the top nook. Here you must remember that the hatch will close once you do this. But still you can attempt to toss the crystal using a Dimensional Claw just as you’re falling.
Left Chamber
Begin with jumping on the walls to activate Shadow of the Simurgh as you reach close to the empty crystal receptacle. Like before use your Dimensional Claw to grab the crystal and bring it down. Get back to your shadow and plop it inside the receptacle. Your next task is to throw your Chakram up and teleport to it, then create another Shadow of the Simurgh copy. Finally, as you fall grab the crystal, and then teleport to the top to place it into the topmost receptacle.
Right Chamber
Like the previous two rooms, use your Dimensional Claw to grab the crystal, and place it inside the first receptacle. Next, you have to jump to the right. Precisely toward the indented wall and create a Shadow of the Simurgh copy. Once done, get back the crystal, then teleport to your copy. Reach above to the higher ledge. You can use air dash for this. Now, create another shadow copy and place the crystal back inside the receptacle. Then get back to the ledge.
Like before, throw your Chakram to the top to make a Shadow of the Simurgh copy there. Get back your crystal and teleport to your copy at the top of the room. Finally, place it inside the receptacle.
Fixing Clock Hands
Now that you have reached this point, this is time to see how you can fix the device. To do so, go to the main chamber and you will find three plates on the ledge that mark three different colors: red, blue, and yellow. As you step on a color plate, that specific color will stop moving, but others will continue moving. So, the process is to jump into the plates when they are about to glow. For example, you can first step on the red one and then, when you see the yellow is about to glow, jump on it. This way, you have to make all three lights glow to activate the mechanism and solve the puzzle.
