To get milk, you have to find and capture Moozarina. This is a neutral Pal whose main trait is Farming. Hence they are great to keep at the Ranch to farm materials and ingredients. Their passive, Milk Maker, lets them produce a lot of milk frequently when kept inside a Ranch. You can capture them in the wild if you make your way west from your starting spawn point. Moozarina can be spotted quite early in the game, and they are found in abundance within the area marked above. You can either try to capture them and take them back to your base, or you can kill them to get Milk as drops. It is best to build a Ranch and place them inside to farm milk indefinitely.
Another way to get milk is to purchase it from the Wandering Merchant inside the Small Settlement. You can find the Small Settlement west from your starting spawn point. Just keep walking till you come across a waypoint nearby, which you can unlock to get here quickly next time. The merchant will sell Milk for 100 coins, so if you have some change to spare, then you can come here to get milk
