Before you begin, you should first build a Palbox to act as your base. This is where you can collect and keep Pals indefinitely. You will require the following materials to build a Palbox in Palworld
- 1x Paldium Fragment
- 8x Wood
- 3x Stone
Then, go over to the Build menu and select the Palbox. Now that you have the Palbox, your Pals will stay here and you can organize the ones you want to carry with you and the ones who will stay back and complete tasks
How to Manage Pals in Palworld
Interact with the Palbox to bring up the Pal menu. You can then move the required Pals from the inventory to either the left or bottom sections. The Pals on the left will join you as a party, while the Pals at the bottom will help you with tasks in and around the base. Select any Pal and drag them to the bottom section of the menu to make them start doing tasks. If you have workbenches within your base, they can start crafting once the required materials are gathered
How to Feed Pals in Palworld
Your Pals require food and rest to work efficiently. To feed your Pals, you can place Food Boxes and Berry Plantations after unlocking them from the Tech menu. You would also need to gather materials to craft them. For the Food Box, you would need 20x Wood. Place any food item inside it and your Pal will pick it up when hungry. Berry Plantations require 3x Berry Seeds, 20x Wood, and 20x Stone. Once constructed, use seeds to plant crops and irrigate them. After a while, the bushes will start sprouting and supplying berries as food.
Besides feeding them, each Pal requires a separate bed to rest on. Gather 10x wood and 5x fiber to craft Straw Pal Bed. Each Pal needs their own bed to rest on, so craft as many as you can so your Pals can get some sleep when they are not working
