While building your structure, you would need to to build the foundations first, which includes flooring, walls, and a roof. Eventually, once you get the hang of it, you can start building your second floor. But to connect both floors, you would require stairs. In this guide we will see how to build stairs in Palworld

As you keep progressing through the technology menu and leveling up, you would start unlocking various structures for your base. You would have a basic structure consisting of floors, walls, and a roof. Now all that is left is to construct stairs to bring your structure a level higher. The earliest stairs you can unlock are the wooden stairs.
- To place the stairs, you should ensure that you have enough wood for construction.
- Next, you need enough space, at least a structure bigger than 3×3.
- After that, remove the roof for now or create an opening above to make a landing .
- The stairs will only fix to the building if there is a wall that it can attach against.
- You can place it whichever way you want, either sideways or straight, as long as there is a supporting wall it can lean against
To build the second set of stairs, you would have to go all the way up your existing stairs and start placing the roof, which will act as the floor for the second floor. Again, you have to place walls so your stairs can lean against it. You can now construct a second set of stairs and build a third floor. Later on, you can unlock the metal staircase from the tech tree to fortify your base.
