In the previous installment, you had your character level capped at level 60, but now it has expanded to level 65. Your gear score can also be improved, as it is now capped at 700, Furthermore, your Trade Skills can also be improved, with the new cap increase at level 250. You can now collect more items while scavenging and make progress in crafting and upgrading your weapons and gear.
New players would have a hard time trying to reach beyond level 60, but there is no hard rule on how you have to play the game. You can quickly earn XP by playing the game and completing quests.
