The 2023 MW3 Zombies has some cool camo starting with the Astray, Murk Glitch, New Strain, Mud, Golden Enigma, and so on. But, every year there is an issue where players cannot unlock a particular camo, or the game gives a dev error when a specific camo is equipped. A lot of players since the launch of the game have been reporting the MW3 Golden Enigma camo not unlocking in Zombies.
It’s always frustrating when you grind your way to a camo that you wanted so much only to find there is an issue preventing you from getting the camo. Keep reading and we will tell you all there is to know about the camo, how to unlock it, and about the Gloden Enigma bug.
MW3 Golden Enigma Not Unlocking Bug
To unlock the Golden Enigma, you need to complete the first 4 camo challenges and unlock the Astray, Murk Glitch, New Strain, and Mud camos. The second part of the challenge requires you to kill 100 zombies with the weapon of your choice and extract the weapon to unlock the Golden Enigma. In the Zombies mode, this is quite easy to accomplish. All you need to do is stay put at the exfil and call for exfil. At that point hundreds of zombies will spawn, simply kill them and you will have your kills for the camo, but many players who tried have failed to get the camo.
So, is there a bug with the camo or the kill farming at the exfil is not counting? The good news is you are doing nothing wrong and the bad news is there is a bug with the camo as acknowledged by Treyarch in a Tweet and their Trello account. They said:
We’re investigating an issue that prevents Golden Enigma and Golden Ivory from unlocking.
