In Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred, the Mother’s Guidance is a quest where you’ll need to find Lorath using easy routes that don’t include combat. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to complete the quest using the fastest route and the easiest way possible.
Start at Visions End
Your journey begins in Visions End, which lies in the southern area of the map. Instead of having to take a long ride from there to your next destination, you can cut your travel time down by using a way point located only a short distance away.
Teleport to Temis
To speed up the quest, you can teleport directly to Temis instead of travelling the majority of the route. Once you arrive in Temis, enter and go north through the settlement that’s northwest of the gate.
When you exit the settlement, check your quest marker for the main road south; this portion of the quest has no complicated mechanics or hidden objectives, so you should not have any problem finding your way.
Ignore Enemies Along the Way
You will encounter multiple hostile enemies on your way down the path; however, fighting does not have to take place when completing this quest unless you desire an extra reward or wish to level up. Simply riding your mount towards your final destination will allow for the quickest route.
You should easily be able to navigate around the majority of enemy groups that you encounter during your travels without risking anything as long as you have a good set of gear and are aware of where all of the enemies are positioned.
Speak With Lorath
Eventually, you will reach Lorath waiting near the objective marker where interacting with him will prompt a short cutscene. After finishing the dialogue sequence, the quest will be completed.
The actual quest is very short and serves primarily as a transition from one part of the game to another. However, you will receive some loot (which will be valuable) in addition to experience for your character after completing the quest.
Note: Quest completion rewards will be determined by how much progress you have made which includes acquiring gear through drops and getting experience points. You might receive a new type of equipment or gear upgrade that may assist you in advancing to the next stage of the campaign.
