There is a deadzone setting that you can access in your controller settings while playing MW3. This will help you reconfigure your controller’s stick settings to aid in smoother gameplay. To find this option, open your controller settings and scroll down till you can spot the deadzone input setting. Enable the Test Deadzone option to figure out if your controller is working optimally. On your right side, you can check out how your controller’s stick reading is interpreted. You can assess it and tweak the settings on the left in case it is haywire.
You can also change the trigger settings of the L2 and R2 buttons of your controller. These settings are placed right under the deadzone settings and you can find it when you scroll down even further. There is a separate diagram on the right side that will appear when you want to test out the pressure of the trigger buttons. You can then adjust the pressure and release of the buttons to suit your gameplay style
