The new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is finally released and available to play. COD Modern Warfare 2 has launched to much fanfare, with many new features for players to enjoy. These include unique mechanics, maps, weapons, and weapon camos to customize their experience.

How to Unlock Polyatomic Camo in MW2
To get the Polyatomic camo in Modern Warfare 2, you’ll need first unlock Platinum and Gold camo for all the weapons in the game. Once you’ve done that, there will be a final mastery challenge for each weapon waiting for you. These challenges will vary depending on the weapon or category of weapons, so you’ll need to revisit each one again after completing the initial grind.
Here are the following steps to get Polyatomic Camo:
- You must complete all four base camo challenges to unlock the Gold camo.
- You can unlock the Platinum camo on weapons in the AR, SMG, LMG, etc. categories by unlocking gold for all the weapons in the category. For example, to get the Platinum Gold for M4, you need to unlock Gold Camo for all weapons in the Assault Category which M4 belongs to.
- The Polyatomic camo can be unlocked once you have earned platinum on 51 weapons in the game.
With 51 guns available at launch, you’ll be able to take on the Polyatomic weapon challenges. These are different for each weapon category. While some guns and weapons in the game will make things easier, you’ll still need to experiment with some of the less user-friendly tools to get the hang of things.
