Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is now out for a few days, and players have started exploring the game. Like other COD games, Modern Warfare 2 has multiple trophies and achievements to unlock, and “Don’t Touch the Deck!” is one of the most challenging among them. Players often find this Achievement tough to complete, so this guide will help you know how you can easily cover the required distance without touching the Deck in Dark Water.
Don’t Touch the Deck Achievement in Modern Warfare 2- Guide to Complete It?
Modern Warfare 2 has Several Trophies to earn, and some of them are really tough. Don’t Touch the Deck is a Silver trophy you get after the “Ghost in Training” trophy on the Trophy List. This Trophy tasks the players to “In Dark Water advance 90 meters towards the front of the ship without touching the deck.” Seems impossible, right? Well, it’s really a challenging task.
The task starts when your boat crashes into another ship full of Oil Containers during the storm. Now the challenge is not to step on the floor while getting out of the boat and covering the required distance. To get out of your broken boat, jump on the red Container in front (shown in the image below).
Once you are on the top of the Container, you can see many containers throughout the deck of various sizes. Jump on those containers to progress forward. Alternatively, you can use the Pipes on the side of the Ship to run and cover the distance. There is a Cabin Kind of area on the Ship; if you don’t find containers near, you can jump on it as well. Go to the other side of this Cabin, and you’ll find other Containers to jump on. Sometimes, you need to wait for a container to come closer so you can jump on it. Continue this process, and you’ll get the trophy as you cover the required distance.
Alternatively, after you come out of the crashed boat and hop on the red Container, jump on the pipes. Run through them and climb the Cabin. On the other side, there will be a blue container that you can jump on. Basically, you have to travel like this to reach the other end of the Ship (shown below), where the controls of the Ship are located. As you reach, your Achievement is completed.
That’s all you need to know about completing the Don’t Touch the Deck Achievement in Modern Warfare 2. However, the process is not easy because you have to fight enemies during your journey to the other side of the Ship. Also, if you step on the floor, you have to start the mission from the last Checkpoint.
