To collect Mixed Energy Residue, you need to head over to Agna Desert and scavenge around for Encrypted Storage Boxes or Encrypted Vaults. You will require Code Breakers or Code Analyzers to break open the vaults and clear the mini games. You can use Enzo to clear the mini games easier. The best place to search for vaults that contain Mixed Energy Residue is by exploring the Miragestone Temporary Safe Zone in Agna Desert.
Once you load in, scan the area till you hear a beep. That means there is a vault nearby. Locate the vault using the beep and use the Code Breaker or Analyzers to break up the vault. Play the mini game and you can get Mixed Energy Residue for clearing it. Repeat this step a few times to find all the vaults. There are several vaults hidden within the caves of the mountain. Break them up to farm Mixed Energy Reside. You can also teleport to another location and respawn here. The vaults will be reset and you can farm infinitely.
