The Hoard of the Hunt doesn’t have a lot of structures to take care of, but they do have the usual portal to destroy. Since their army base is huge, you should depend more on your mobs for crowd control. Your main focus should be on Piglin Launchers, Piglin Pits, and Lava Coil Towers. These can be taken care of by Redstone Launchers and Cobblestone Golems.
Cure Netherrack towers, Protector Towers, Arrow Towers, and Scatter Towers are some of the tools that you should build for defense. For durability and repairs, you should also have Masonry and the Carpenter Hut. Try and eradicate Netherrack, then place mob spawners periodically. You can use one of your units to distract the enemy mob by attacking their structure, then use your remaining units to tear down the portal.
How to Defeat the Beast – Minecraft Legends
The Beast will be quickly summoned after you destroy the Horde of the Hunt portal. You don’t have to worry about finding them, but you do have to keep an eye on your map to know which village The Beast will appear to attack.
The best strategy is to build your defense around the Village it is planning to attack. Place Scatter Towers, Protector Towers, Power Towers, and Arrow Towers periodically and plenty of walls. You can also place some arrow towers a bit further away to distract the Beast. Battle Drums, Kaboomeries, and Spyglass can also supply boosts for your buildings. Don’t forget to place your Masonry and Carpenter Hut to fortify your structures.
The Beast will appear with minions, and you can place your skeletons behind the walls to get rid of them. Use the help of Mossy Golems and The First Golems to heal and attack. But most importantly, you should heavily defend your town’s Fountain. If the Beast gets to the fountain, then the village will be lost. You can place your primary defense on the outskirts of the village, then place your secondary defense around the fountain.
The best part of fighting the Beast is that the Beast will not heal, so you can keep attacking it using Creepers, Golems, Zombies, and Skeletons till they run out of health. In case you didn’t kill the Beast the first night, the boss will appear in another village the following night, and all the damage inflicted will be carried over. You can break down all your built structures to save cost, then head over to the next village and prep for the attack.
