For those looking to make the hunt easier, you can purchase an Adventure Book from the vendor in Gizeh Village, which marks their locations on your map. Whether you are exploring crumbling ruins, burning away overgrown brush, or navigating the depths of ancient tombs, our guide provides all the details you need to locate each artifact with ease.
Lost Artifacts of Africa Locations
There are five artifacts hidden throughout the Gizeh level. To help you locate them, you can buy the Gizeh Artifacts booklet from Asmaa in the village, which marks their locations on your map.
1. Ba’al Statuette
Head to the southern part of Gizeh Village, where you will find a parked truck. Check beneath the fake crate covering to uncover this artifact.
2. Ivory Mask
Near where you found the first artifact, look for a collapsed ruin where a bulldozer has crashed. Inside a small chamber within the ruin, you will find this artifact.
3. Nok Sculpture
This one is a bit tricky to locate. It’s just south of the Worker’s Camp, the area where you started the Gizeh chapter. Walk along the outer path of the ruins or mound until you notice a patch of dried grass. Use your lighter to burn it, then crawl through the opening to retrieve the artifact.
4. Aduno Koro
You will find this artifact in the Tomb of Khentkawes I, a location tied to the Secret of the Queen Mother side quest. Go to the dig site with the elevator and enter the large chamber filled with scaffolding and platforms. Look for ledges along the edge of the room. Climb the scaffolding, take a running jump to reach one ledge, and then leap to another with skeletal remains to claim the artifact.
5. Jambiya Dagger
This artifact appears later during the main quest, The Idol of Ra. While gathering stele fragments, you will head to the Nazi camp in the northern part of the region. Continue the quest until you escape the collapsed tunnel and reach the Temple Excavation Site. There, you will find the dagger atop a wooden platform.
