This game is also a tactical role-playing video game and requires players to recruit various characters to control various aspects of the game. Players will need to recruit many mercenaries during their missions and for the missions. There are many mercs in the game but players will remember Gus Tarballs because he seemingly retired in the 2 iterations of the Jagged Alliance 2. How to Recruit Gus Tarballs?

Gus Tarballs is the tough guy who is seemingly retired but players can somehow recruit him in Jagged Alliance 3. To recruit the merc Gus tarballs, players need to follow these steps: 

  1. Players first need to recruit other mercs who are acquainted with him 
  2. The 2 mercs which players need to recruit are Len and Scully 
  3. After recruiting Lena and Scully, players can go back to the Gus 
  4. Now players can recruit him with the help of Len and Scully 
  5. If players have only one of them: like if they have Len, Gus will suggest getting Scully and vice versa. 

If players have Gus and Len in their team, they will have an Old Dog trait which will prevent both of them to increase their stats but they are already well equipped.

If players have Gus and Scully in their team, every other member will become a good tank because both of them have a trait together which provides the whole team Grit with either a kill or being in the Aussie’s proximity.
