Nightingale does offer several new features that other games have yet to catch up. Since this is a survival RPG, you would need to learn how to defend yourself against external attacks. At the start of the game, most of your view will be in first person to give you a real experience of your base. But some players can’t handle the camera movements and jerking in first person view. In this guide we will see how to use a third person view in Nightingale.
How to Use Third Person View in Nightingale
Fortunately there is an option to shift from first person to third person view. Here we will see how to do that in Nightingale.

You can quickly shift between first person and third person view by pressing the F5 key on your keyboard. It is still unsure how this works across other platforms, but for now PC players can quickly shift between the views by pressing the above recommended key. This way you can toggle between first person and third person views and see which one works for you. First person view is great for finding minute resources in the wild, as it gives a more defined perspective of your environment. But a third person view is ideal to check your surroundings for enemies and also give you a wider view area.
Whichever view you choose, you can always go back to your default by pressing F5. Since the game takes place in a magical realm that requires some element of scavenging and hunting, you need to scan your surroundings a bit more to find what you are looking for.
