Supermarket Together is one of those games that gets a regular update rather frequently. So each time you load in, you will spot a new feature added to the game. During one of the most recent updates, you will find a new little nook in your store. If you explore it, there is a prison cell in there that you can use. But its purpose is still unclear, and as such many players are baffled by this new addition to the game. While it may look odd for a Supermarket simulator, the jail will come in handy for a few things.
The jail is an integral part of Supermarket Together, especially when it comes to multiplayer. In this guide we will see how to use the jail feature in Supermarket Together
How to Use the Jail Feature in Supermarket Together
The jail is a new feature added to Supermarket Together. Here we will see how this feature works in the game
Supermarket Together is a unique gameplay experience, since it also includes multiplayer. You can invite your friends or keep your server open for potential players to join your game. This feature makes Supermarket Together stand out from other Supermarket simulation games. You can ask your friends to help you run your store, arrange products, and keep thieves away. But sometimes, you might find some employees do not do what they are expected and will rush to cause havoc in your store. To tame these unruly patrons, you need to put them in jail.
The jail only works when other players are on your server, and will not work on the AI bots in the game. Press the ESC key and a small menu will appear on your top left corner. This menu will list all the players in your server and two options beside them. You got the Punish option and the Kick option. Kicking a player will remove them from your server, but punishing them will put them in jail.
Also within this player list menu, you will find two arrows and a number just below their name. You can increase or decrease this number, and it serves a unique purpose. For a player to get out of jail, they need to do the necessary mouse clicks and click on the jail door according to the number set by the host. After that, the player can get out of jail and resume their duties. So in short, the jail can be used in multiplayer to punish players who don’t follow the rules of the host. Only the host of the server has control over who to put in jail and the number of clicks required for them to get out
