Have you spotted that little bar under your name, at the top left of your screen? It’s called your Focus meter. With Focus in Palia, your character can earn even more XP while ticking off tasks in the game. It starts off with a full meter of 200 Focus points, which translates to a handy 20% bonus to your XP. This means you’ll be earning extra XP for all the activities you’re doing.
How to Get Focus in Palia?
Gaining XP Can Deplete Focus so, Replenish with Food! Just a heads up, every time you rack up XP in a skill – let’s say hunting, fishing or gardening, you’re using up your Focus. You’ll likely find yourself needing to refill that Focus meter pretty often. Eat a variety of foods to refill your Focus. Try out mushrooms, mountain morels enjoy some grilled oysters, or cosy up with a bowl of hearty vegetable soup. Each of these foods will give you varying amounts of Focus to keep you going.
Remember, your characters need food to boost their Focus. By upgrading the Focus cap, you can feed your characters more and keep that super helpful XP boost up and running. Power up the XP boost from your Focus, and then every activity your characters do will earn them even more XP.
How to Upgrade Focus in Palia?
To upgrade Focus in Palia, gaining Renown is essential. Renown is a currency in Palia that you can effortlessly earn just by engaging in the game. Start completing quests, accomplishing tasks and chatting with our friendly Npcs around town daily. Just remember, each upgrade requires 100 Renown.
You can upgrade Focus in Palia for your character. But how? Just spend some Renown at two special Shrines. Here are the two shrines:
- Phoenix Shrine
Situated in the stunning Phoenix Falls, the Phoenix Shrine will be your starting point. Run up to the Phoenix Statute and by spending a mere 100 Renown, your Focus will increase by 5%. And guess what? This isn’t a one-time offer. Feel free to repeat whenever needed.
2. Dragon Shrine
You’ll find the Dragon Shrine tucked away in Maji’s Hollow – it’s at the top of the main Palia map. Visit the shrine and run up to the Dragon Statue to increase your Focus cap by 50. Drop 100 Renown and boom, you’re levelled up. The best part is, you can do this over and over again.
