Call of Duty developers have revealed an expanded update for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 1, with the new gulag mode and DMZ mode. According to the newly released Season 1 roadmap, two additional weapons will be introduced midway through the season.

Chimera can be unlocked in Warzone 2:
- Either by purchasing from the Store bundle, which will be released during the season and include weapon blueprints.
- Or by completing the specific weapon challenges.
As yet, the weapon challenges for Chimera Assault Rifle are unknown, so it will not be clear what the store bundles or weapon unlock challenges will entail until they are released later on. So stay tuned for more updates.
