Demonologist has hiding spots on every map that you can use to save yourself during hunts. However, ensure the spirit doesn’t locate your location. Switch off every device while hiding.
Before you enter a map, we recommend getting Crucifix with you. If you are alone, be sure to bring a Crucifix; if you have teammates, tell at least one member to bring a crucifix. Crucifix is your best friend during your gameplay. It will save you from hunts if you place it properly. Additionally, we recommend you have some Holy Water. It will also save you from the Spirit.
Next, before you enter a map, ensure to have Sanity Pills, Flashlights, and Candles. Sanity plays a crucial role in Demonologist. If your sanity gets too low, you’ll become vulnerable, and the Spirit will hunt frequently. Using tools like Ouija Board, Tarot Card drains sanity faster. Otherwise, jumpscares and roaming the map in dark for too long will reduce the sanity level. So, bring light sources and sanity pills to maintain your sanity level.
Finally, as you enter the map, the first thing you should look for is the hiding places. Explore all the hiding locations, especially the closest one to the ghost’s location. So, you can hide immediately after a hunt starts. For that, you must know the map well. Playing the map for a few times will help you understand the locations on the map.
