The Small Chests unlock by default. Six planks are enough to build a Small Chest. If you have a Lumber Mill, you can convert wood to plank. That’s a quick process and you can even let your villagers do it. These chests have six slots to stock up your excess items. - Place some of your chests close to a wall.
- Open your building menu and choose a tile of your preference. Don’t go for an expensive one.
- Build a floor made of tiles right above the chests.
- Place chests on the tile floor
- Break the tile floor.
