God of War players were waiting for a long time to get the God of War Ragnarok. Finally, after a long wait, one of the most-awaited games of this year, God of War Ragnarok, was released on 9th November 2022. It has brought tons of things to explore, and some of them are brought from the previous games of this series. For example, if you have played the previous God of War, Nornir Chests are nothing new to you. God of War Ragnarok also has Nornir Chests in the game, and this guide will help you open the Dragon Beach Nornir Chest in God of War Ragnarok.
God of War Ragnarok- Dragon Beach Chest Puzzle Solving Method?
Nornir Chests are special chests containing Iduun Apples, Horn of Blood Mead, etc. Veteran players can easily identify them in the game as they have seen these chests in the previous God of War games. In God of War Ragnarok, players get lots of Nornir Chests scattered throughout the Nine realms, and each of them requires players to solve puzzles opening them.
If you reach Dragon Beach and spotted the Nornir Chest, you can’t simply open the Chest to get the items. The Chest will be locked until you break three seals. Though it is one of the most straightforward puzzles to solve, still lack of clues may make it hard for the players to locate the seals.
The first Seal is located just behind the Chest. As you are standing in front of the Chest, you can locate a Geyser behind it. Throw the Leviathan Axe to freeze it. As soon as the Geyser freezes, you’ll see the Seal behind it. The twist is you can’t break the Seal with the Blades of Chaos or Atreus’ Arrows. It requires the Leviathan Axe to break it. So, set your aim properly, and call back the Leviathan Axe.
As soon as the Leviathan Axe comes back, the Geyser starts, and players need to aim and break Seal while the Geyser is on and the Seal is not visible. So, players need to observe the location of the Seal and aim properly. As the seal breaks, you’ll get a notification.
The next Seal will be found behind the Dragon Statue. You’ll find a Geyser in front of the Statue. You should first freeze the Geyser using the Leviathan Axe and then come to the back side of the Statue to find the Seal. This is the only Seal that does not affect whether the Geyser is on or not. It is always visible, and players can easily break it with their Axe.
Finally, go to the side of the sea, and there will be another Geyser. Again freeze it with the Axe, and you’ll see the Seal behind it. Aim properly and call back the Axe. Now, when the Seal is invisible because of the water, you must throw the Axe and beak the Seal.
Once three seals are broken, get back to the Nornir Chest, and it’s unlocked. Open it and get the items inside it.
