You will need to craft a Repair Smithy first before you can start repairing your tools. You can find the blueprint for the Repair Smithy under Handycraft > Essentials and Crafting > Building Plans. Once you get the blueprint, you will now need the resources.

To craft the Repair Smithy, you will need Iron Ingots. The only way you can get Iron Ingots is by placing Iron Ore in the furnace. If you don’t have a furnace, you can craft one by getting enough stone. You can find stone by breaking down large rocks, walls, and buildings. Iron Ore can also be found the same way, but the breakable area will be highlighted in red. Once you have enough stone, craft the furnace and place the iron ore inside to get iron ingots. You need 5 iron ingots to craft the Repair Smithy

Now that you have the Repair Smithy, you can interact with it to know which weapon or gear of yours needs repairs. But before that, you will need Metal Fragments and some coins to fund the repairs. Luckily, you can find Metal Fragments just about anywhere, especially on the ground and after breaking furniture inside buildings. You can now repair your tools and get sturdier gear.
