The only way you can end the game is to successfully exorcise the ghost residing in the area. If you have picked the Abandoned House map, then you need to find all five demon fingers after correctly identifying the ghost type and perform the exorcism to banish it. In the Cyclone St. map, you need to find the Time of Death and turn all the clocks to that time to complete that round. And in the Hospital map, you need to find all the Salt Gun parts and defeat the spirit.
After you have successfully banished the spirit to the other world, you can go back to your campsite and hop in your Impala to head back to your safe house. You can even check the mission board on the campsite before leaving to know if you have missed out on anything in the area you were in. If you are in a team, then everyone needs to make it to the car to get out. After you hop in your car, you will reach the Safehouse and effectively end the match.
