The first-person shooter game has been developed by Infinity Ward, and players are looking forward to the October 28 release due to the horde of changes that it brings to the gameplay. The devs have even started a beta program through which players will be able to try out the game on early access, but the process is quite complicated as you might need to wait a while. The game will have new features such as more advanced AI and co-op modes. The mechanics have been thoroughly revised and improved, and players expect to see a big change in the game from the 2019 reboot. Many characters will be returning to Modern Warfare 2, ones that they are familiar with such as Captain Price, Gaz and Soap. While there is a three-year time jump from the last time you saw them, things have only gotten better.

Some players will be able to join the Beta program for Modern Warfare 2 right away. It takes place over two weekends, and is an open beta. If you’re on the PlayStation platform, you will be able to access the beta in the first weekend itself—or you need to wait for the next one.
However, it’s worth noting that you need to have pre-ordered the game beforehand so that you can have access to the beta. The other way to get free access is to get your hands on an Early Access key. This will allow you to play for the first 48 hours of the beta, which covers the first weekend.
Weekend 1
Early Access Beta for Playstation players ends on 18th September at 10am PT.
All PlayStation players can play till 20th September.
Weekend 2
Early Access Beta for all platforms ends on 22nd September at 10am PT.
All players can play till 24th September at 10am PT.
If you want to access the beta from Steam, you will need to have pre-ordered the game beforehand. You can also look for a free Early Access key if you haven’t preordered the game, which a lot of content creators are giving out.
