Gravo’s Chest is one of those small yet useful chests of loot that you can find in the Old Camp in Gothic 1 Remake. It is placed in Gravo’s hut, thus making it easy to overlook this spot, especially if you rush through this location. Though the loot contained in it isn’t anything special and won’t yield you any high-end items, it still provides you with some early-game items. In this guide, you’ll learn where to find it, how to open it, and what you can get from inside.
How to Open Gravo’s Chest
Gravo’s Chest can be located within Gravo’s house at the northern entrance of the Old Camp. It will not be difficult to find since Gravo’s house is located right across Diego’s house. Simply go to the northern entrance and find Gravo’s house, then go inside where Gravo’s chest can easily be found. To unlock Gravo’s chest, follow the arrangement for the lockpick plates below:
- Shift the first plate 5 plates to the right.
- Shift the fifth plate 1 plate to the right.
- Shift the second plate 3 plates to the left.
- Shift the third plate 3 plates to the right.
- Shift the second plate 3 more plates to the left.
- Shift the fourth plate 3 plates to the left.
- Shift the fifth plate 6 plates to the right.
- Lastly, shift the second plate 3 plates to the left.
In case you’re using Xbox, you can press either D-Pad Left or D-Pad Right when making your moves. By following the moves correctly, you’ll be able to open the chest. When you manage to unlock Gravo’s Chest, you’ll receive a decent number of items that might be helpful to you. The items include Essence of Healing, Cheese, Grilled Meat, Plate, and 19 Ore Nuggets. Even though the reward won’t be unique, it’s definitely worth collecting, especially if you’re in need of additional resources at an early stage of the game.
