Make Easy Money In Brighter Shores Early Game
Money in Brighter Shores is crucial for everything from buying items to upgrading weapons and armour as you progress through the game. At the start, though, it can be a bit tricky to earn enough. In the early game, there are several ways to earn easy money early on without much effort. Below are the processes you can try to make easy money early in the game:
Selling Equipment in Brighter Shores
When you engage in combat to level up your Guard skill, you’ll earn experience and might also get a piece of equipment. While there’s a chance the gear could be better than what you’re currently using, it’s more likely that you’ll get something average that you don’t really need. You can head towards the Quartermaster to sell your unused gear. This is a great way to make some easy money without much effort since the gear comes from simply levelling up your Guard skill in Hopeport.
Fishing in Brighter Shores
Fishing is another great way to make easy money in Brighter Shores. You can fish with a Fishing Spear for as long as you have inventory space. Try fishing for eels or pufferfish in the river south of the Town Square, near the Eel Street Bridge and Wilhope Crossing. At these spots, you can catch eels and pufferfish, then head to the fishmonger just south of the Eel Street Bridge to sell your catch. The walk from the fishing locations to the fishmonger is quick, making it an great way to earn silver. Once you level up your fishing spear, you’ll be able to catch higher-level fish that can be sold for even more silver. But in the early game, this method is an easy way to start building your funds.
Cooking in Brighter Shores
Cooking is another profession you can get into. By cooking with raw ingredients, you can increase their value, turning them into dishes that are perfect for selling to make some easy money. You might notice that some recipes require ingredients from a vendor like Kevin, but don’t worry about the cost. If you plan to sell the dishes, you’ll end up making more money than you spent on the ingredients. Even something as simple as an omelette made with eggs bought from Kevin will earn you more than you paid for the eggs.
Opening Chests in Brighter Shores
Occasionally, you’ll find chests inside buildings that you can search for a bit of copper. While looting a single chest won’t net you a lot, places like the Barracks in the Training Grounds have multiple chests to loot. At the moment, chests seem to reset after a short while, so you can loot one, wait a bit, and then loot it again. It is a simple way to earn some easy money.
