Most of your attacks will seem useless while trying to kill Winter Lanterns, as most of them will go through them rather than deal damage. The only way you can kill these enemies is to parry while they try to do a grab attack and riposte right after. This can be a bit tricky as you have to time your approach, so it can take several trial and error before you can get a kill. Parrying and doing a riposte will help get your attack through to them
In case you don’t want to fight them, you can always avoid them by using items that help muffle sound. Slinking around their area without attracting them will help you avoid them entirely. They can see and hear you, so try to stay as far away as possible. Also, don’t get close to the eyeball plants with spikes on them, as they can alert the Winter Lanterns, making it easier for them to track you down.
