Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is finally out for the platforms of PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It’s been quite the wait for players who have been looking forward to it as the sequel of Warzone in 2020. The game is a continuation of the Warzone series, which was officially announced by Activision in September 2022. In this guide, we will take you through the process of how to invite friends to your game in Warzone 2.0.
Warzone 2.0: How to Add Friends
Warzone 2.0 has been launched with a lot of new features as players across the world begin to dive into the new battle royale game. One of the features is that you can add friends to your game, so if you are wondering how you can do so, you’re in the right place.

The core gameplay hasn’t changed, but the new mechanisms make it easier for players and fans of the game to enjoy it. You will be able to battle for victory in each match, get loot and weapons and gain XP as you win.
You can also play with your friends in Warzone 2.0 in the squad matches through the social menu. However, as of now, the social menu seems to be broken. You will find the option to click on Social Menu on the main screen of the game, but instead of anything new happening, you will simply be sent back into the Main Menu.
This can be quite frustrating, but thankfully there is a fix for this, which will work for now, until the bug gets rectified. You will need to navigate to the top right of the Call of Duty Main Menu and click on the Channels menu. The existing channel for your party will show you, with you in it. Click on the Channel and select the option Invite to Channel.
Now, you will be able to see your friend list, and you can invite your friends. Make sure you have added them to your list first.
