To successfully infiltrate any Recon Mission around any of the regions, you first need to level up. You can check the enemy levels while hovering over the mission description on the map. Then try to match or reach higher than that level. This will make things easier in the long run. Next, there are two ways to approach this mission. One, is to take your best crowd control weapon like the machine gun and gun down the waves of enemies before you are spotted. Or two, you can use Sharen’s stealth ability, level up the ability, and then infiltrate the base.
If you are going for the former option, try to first find a way to overlook the base before you trigger the mission. There are tons of good spots where you can hide and oversee the enemy spawns from outside the zone. Find a spot that won’t trigger the start of the mission but at the same time can give you a good look of the arena. Shoot down any enemy inside the base from the outside to thin the crowd. Now, you can jump right in and kill all the remaining enemies before you are spotted.
If you do get spotted, clear the crowd and keep hitting all the tanky pillars within the arena, then wait for the surveillance timer to hit zero. During this time, quickly bust all the power units within the arena. It might take a few tries and a few waves of enemies to get to all the power units and destroy them. Then, once that is all done, the boss will spawn. Kill the boss to complete the mission. You have to do all this before the timer runs out or you will fail the mission
It will also help to start this mission on a private server so you have more freedom to complete the mission at your own pace. It doesn’t help to go straight for the power units and destroy them first if not using stealth, as you won’t get the stealth bonus rewards. Also, before starting this mission, you should explore the region and check for surveillance towers. Destroy them whenever you see them, then start the recon mission. This will give you additional time to complete the recon mission at your pace.
