Demonologist is a pretty tricky game, and it is natural that if you haven’t ever played games like this, you need some help identifying and Exorcise Entities in the game. Like Phasmophobia, this game also has different Ghost-types, each with different characteristics. Each Ghost has a different set of evidence, and these evidence sets will help players identify them. Before we discuss this further, let’s first see the Evidences players need to look for in the game-
- EMF Level 5
- Spirit Box
- ESG Device Response
- Fingerprints
- Ectoplasm Stains
- Freezing Temperature
- Easel Canvas Drawing
As you find and mark evidence in the journal, you’ll see ghost types are fading. For example, if you get EMF Level 5 + ESG Device Response + Fingerprints, it will be a Goryo; Boogey gives EMF Level 5 + ESG Device Response + Spirit Box Response, etc. Each Ghost will have a different set of evidence to give. No two ghosts give the same set of evidence. First, find the Ghost’s location and set up items to collect evidence. Of course, be careful of the hunts.
Once you have identified the Ghost type, it’s time to Exorcise the Entities. Well, that’s an optional task, though. You can leave the location after identifying the ghost type. However, if you want to Exorcise the Entities, you have to complete three objectives-
- Find the sitting human silhouette using the Ectoplasma Glass.
- Take a solid Photo of the Ghost.
- Have the Ghost blow out the Candle.
These are the optional objectives that unlock the Exorcism option. Once the option is unlocked, players can Exorcise the entities.
