Within the game, you can now place temporary waypoints within your chosen destination besides unlocking resonance beacons. These temporary waypoints can be used to mark important areas that would otherwise be inaccessible. But to craft a waypoint, you require Waypoint Modules. To craft Waypoint Modules, you need to unlock the Waypoint Module Synthesis Recipe. You can get the recipe after reaching Pioneer Level 2. To reach this level, you need to gain 600 exploration points. You can attain this by just unlocking exploration points while exploring Hunaglong. After you gather 600 exploration points, make your way to the Pioneer Association to level up. You now have the Waypoint Module Synthesis recipe. 

Now that you have the recipe, make your way to the Synthesizer in Jinzhou. You will require the following materials to craft one Waypoint Module

• 5x Indigoite
• 5x Floramber

Luckily, you can spot both these items near Jinzhou’s Central Plains area. Check the cliffs and caves to find them. To use the Waypoint Module, check your Utility Wheel and you will have the Waypoint Option unlocked. If you select it, it will cost 1x Waypoint Module to create one waypoint. You can place 3 waypoints at one time, and removing a waypoint will not reimburse the used Waypoint Module
