The only way you can gather water in the game is by building a well. You can quickly build a well when you check out the building and construction menu. Equip your hammer and start building a well. You also need the required materials to build a well. Once that is done, you will also require water storage to store clean water. After you have all this down, you need to craft a bucket.
How to get a bucket in Sengoku Dynasty
To make a bucket in Sengoku Dynasty, you need to have a woodworking station. Head into your building menu again and place a woodworking hut if you don’t have one yet. Once the hut is done, place the woodworking station inside the hut. You can find the woodworking station under the Furniture tab of the building menu. Select the Production Furniture option and you will find the Woodworking Hut option. Select the woodworking station under the Woodworking Hut option to build it.
Now, you can craft your bucket on the station using your hammer. One bucket will require 2 planks, so craft a bucket. After that, make your way to the well and drop the bucket to draw water. Store it in the water storage area for further use.
How to keep collecting water in Sengoku Dynasty
Instead of manually drawing water each time, you can assign a worker to draw water for an indefinite amount of time. To do that, you need to build a Dynasty Storage first and fill it with buckets. Once you have a well, check out the Jobs section in your Dynasty menu and assign a worker to get water. Each bucket will draw out 5 water, but it will consume a bucket each time you use it. Craft as many buckets as you can and keep them in storage so your villagers won’t run out of them while doing their job.
