Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have more than 400 Pokemon to collect, and players still are collecting them. Though not all of them are helpful during fights, you still need them to fill up your Pokedex, and Volcanora is one of the powerful Pokemon that players need to add to their Pokedex if they want it to be completed. However, if you find it challenging to find a Volcanora, this guide will help you with the process.

Volcanora Location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet- Where to Find?

In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, catching Pokemon is not everything players need to do. Instead, they need to evolve Pokemon to the higher forms, and Volcanora is the evolved form of Larvesta. So, it is apparent that players can get Volcanora in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet by evolving Larvesta at a certain level. However, before that, first, catch  Larvesta.

Larvesta is a Bug/Fire-type Pokemon that can be found on the eastern side of Paldea, especially in the Asado Desert. That’s the only location to get Larvesta. If you are confused about the location, we have marked the location below on the map-

Now that you have gone to Asado Desert, you have to look for Larvesta, as it is not a common spawn and can be found a lot. Instead, Larvesta needs to be searched for some time before getting it. Once you get a Larvesta, you must level it up to level 59 to evolve it into Volcanora. Now, Level 59 is a pretty high level to reach. So, you need lots of Exp. Candies to feed your Larvesta and get a Volcanora.

This process is the easiest but not the only one. Players can get Volcanora directly. Once you get access to Area Zero after unlocking The Great Crater of Paldea, go to the Zero Gate (marked below)-

As you reach  Zero Gate and go to the lab, stand on the green altar and select Research Station 2. After you reach the Research Station, leave the area, and once you spawn outside Research Station 2, climb down through the slope and jump down to the grassy area below. Roam a little here and there, and you’ll get a Volcanora somewhere there. However, the spawn rate is not frequent, so it’ll take some time.

That’s all you need to know about how to get Volcanora in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet; However, the latter process is an endgame process because the Great Crater of Paldea opens up after the main storylines are done.
