If you’re looking to craft better gear and improve your character in Windrose, Tanned Leather is something you’ll need quite often. It’s an important material used in tailoring, especially as you move into the mid-game. While the crafting process itself is simple, you’ll first need to gather a few key resources like Rough Hide and Tannin. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get anned Leather.
How to Get Tanned Leather

Tanned Leather is a raw material that you can craft through tailoring. You will find yourself needing it frequently as you advance in the game. The equipment needed is a Tanning Rack. All you need is three Rough Hides and one Tannin. The process of making it is quite easy and won’t take much time. It takes only forty-five seconds to finish crafting Tanned Leather.
How to Get Rough Hide

For collecting Rough Hide, go to the Coastal Jungle, which is the beginning island of the game. The place has a lot of boars, which are your primary supply for hide. You will often see them wandering in the jungle plains or around ruins. In the beginning, on the island, you will normally get one hide from the animals, while boars can give you one or two hides.
How to Get Tanin

In order to farm this, you would have to exit the starting location and move to the Windrose Foothills. Within this area, you will find Divi Trees. Make sure that you have a Copper Axe; otherwise, you will not be able to farm anything from these trees. You will yield approximately 3 Tree Bark from harvesting each of these trees. Next, you can return to your home base and use an Alchemy Table Level 1. To craft Tannin, simply mix 2 Tree Bark + 1 Clay Bottle.
