Skwovet is a Normal Type Pokémon who you can find quite early in the game. Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is similar in structure to the other Pokemon games, so if you are familiar with the previous versions you should know about the spawn rate. Some Pokemon will have a higher spawn rate than others.
Skwovet has a lower spawn rate than other Pokemon in the area which is why you will need to be patient while looking for it. Make your way to the forest areas of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet and you will be able to find Skwovet before the story branches out further, taking you into different pathways.
Once you get to the forest area in Paldea, you will be able to spot the Skwovet on your Radar which is on the bottom right of your screen. More specifically, you will be able to find Skwovet in the South Provinces 1, 2 and 4. Look around the trees or grass to locate the Pokemon.
If you are having trouble, try looking South of Mesagoza before you enter the city for the first time. In case you want to reset the spawn, you can exit the area and wait a bit before entering. This will help you get a better chance of Skwovet spawning around you. Repeat the process until you find one. As a last resort, you can use Encounter Powers if you have them.
