You will notice that some of the incantations will require Mandrake Root, and the only way you can get this item is by obtaining Mandrake Seeds and planting them at the Crossroads. To obtain Mandrake Seeds, you need to prepare first. If you don’t have the Permeation of Witching-Wards incantation, then it is best to craft it now so you can gain access to the surface. It requires Cinder and Shadow items along with 3 Moly. You will also require a silver spade to dig up the seeds
Next, you will also require the Unraveling a Fateful Bond incantation to survive the surface. For that, you require 2 Lotus, 2 Moss, 2 Nightshade, and 2 Thalamus. Grab your shovel and make your way to the surface. You have to head over to the Rift of Thessaly biome and find dirt piles to dig up and get the Mandrake Seeds. Head back to the Crossroads and plant them to get Mandrake Root. You can now use the Mandrake Root for the Circle of Protection Incantation and also for upgrading the Origination Arcana Card
