God of War Ragnarok is one of the most popular games of the year, and since it has released, players have dived into it. Though it is only a PlayStation-exclusive game, it doesn’t lack popularity even a bit. Runic Attacks have been popular Kratos attacks, and God of War Ragnarok has brought some. Ivaldi’s Anvil is one of the Runic Attacks Kratos can use in this game, and this guide will help you know where you can find it.
Location for Ivaldi’s Anvil in God of War Ragnarok- How to Get?
Ivaldi’s Anvil is not a new runic power introduced this season. Instead, if you have played God of War 2018, you can easily remember Ivaldi’s Anvil. It used to be a powerful runic attack, and this time also, it comes as one of the most potent runic attacks Kratos can use against challenging enemies.
If you have been looking for it but haven’t yet figured out the location, let me tell you, it’s not something challenging. You can find the Ivaldi’s Anvil inside a chest at The Derelict Outpost. Though the location has Sindri’s shop and a Mystic gate as markers; we have still marked the location on the map to make it easier for the players to locate it-
Once you reach the below-marked location, use your Blade of Chaos to grapple and progress to the big door. This door is at the back side of the area, so you may take some time to find it. Also, you can’t expect this area to be enemy-free. You have to fight with enemies while progressing towards getting the Rune. Once all the enemies are killed, progress through the door, and you’ll reach a crane.
In the beginning, the Crane is stuck. So, players need to bring it down, move it in the right direction and then send it upward. As you can see, there is a hanging part in the Crane (image below), and players need to aim at it and throw the Blade of Chaos to hang and move forward toward the other side.
Once you reach the other side, grapple upwards, and on the next platform, you’ll find the Yellow chest. Open it to get Ivaldi’s Anvil form inside.
That’s all you need to know about how to get Ivaldi’s Anvil in God of War Ragnarok. Using Ivaldi’s Anvil Kratos can do instant Frost damage to a group of enemies within its range. However, this runic attack can’t be used back-to-back. It has 140 seconds cooldown timer.
