In order to make stronger objects and increase your chance of surviving in the game, you will require a material called Ironware. This is an important ingredient that is used for cooking and creating poisons, so it can be quite useful during combat as well as exploring in Windrose. While getting it isn’t too complicated, you’ll need to follow a few steps and gather the right resources first. In this guide, we will walk you through how to get Ironware and the materials required to craft it.

How to Get Ironware

Ironware is a very useful tool that will be used in the process of cooking food and poison recipes, which makes its crafting necessary early on. However, before you start building Ironware, you will have to upgrade your Workbench to Level 2, because it is crafted at the Workbench. All that remains is smelting 5 Foothills Iron Ingots there. Combine them at the Workbench, and you’ll get Ironware ready to use.

How to Get Foothills Iron Ingots

There is iron available in the Foothills region. Iron deposits can be found in the mines located in the Foothills region. As long as you know how to recognize iron deposits, it will not be hard for you to find them. But you would require a pickaxe in order to do mining.

The only requirement before starting mining is that you should have beaten the boss at the Coastal Jungle. If not, then you wouldn’t have the recipe for using Iron and hence, you would not be able to mine for iron in the Foothills.

As you farm in such regions, iron ore keeps on coming into your inventory with regularity. You can get 2-10 pieces of Iron ore from Ancient Medallion and 2-3 pieces from Ancient Statues. In iron deposits, you can get 8-15 pieces while getting 1 piece from Metal Scrap.
