You need to unlock the Grinder before you can start crafting blue and red crystal dust. To unlock the Grinder blueprint, you need to clear and restore the nearby regions and uncover new materials within that region. You will automatically unlock the blueprint for most crafting stations this way. Now, to craft the grinder, you need the following materials

  • 12x Stones
  • 4x Copper Wires
  • 4x Aluminum Rods.

How to Get Blue Crystal Dust in Lightyear Frontier

Make your way to Yellow Forest to find Blue Crystals. Restore Yellow Forest to its former glory to have more luck trying to find these crystals. They are usually found in rocky terrains and cliffsides. You require Spike Saw Power I to mine Blue Crystals. Tools can be upgraded at the Upgrade Depot. Take the Blue Crystals to the Grinder to get Blue Crystal Dust. 1x Blue Crystal gives 2x Blue Crystal Dush

The process to get Red Crystal Dust is the same as Blue Crystal Dust. You need to scavenge for Red Crystals around Pine Heights. Use your upgraded Spike Saw to harvest Red Crystals from cliff sides and rocky terrains. Take the crystals to the Grinder to get Red Crystal Dust. 1x Red Crystal gives 2x Red Crystal Dust
